QXR Software is a Milwaukee software firm. We write code, test in real sessions, and ship tools meant to be used by hand and ear.
How we got here
QXR started with games, then built a dedicated audio practice as production needs grew. Work in the studio surfaced a technical specification in professional audio; that line of engineering is reflected in two filed U.S. provisional patent applications (abstract-level summaries on our research page).
What we build
Playable games, the Axion Lattice Suite of VST3 tools (live now; 100% free. To you. Forever.), and long-horizon research, with clear standards and respect for the people who use what we ship.
